LEAN LANGUAGE

In order to make lean a success management system every one of us must know about lean language. We need to learn speak and use lean language 
Lean Language is knowing about lean concepts in true sense and speaking this language during communication and using this for implementation or actions.
Lean language is mandatory for leadership of the organization as team members speak and understand the language of their team leaders.
The interesting thing is that this language only speaks of the issues or abnormal areas or not good area and surfaces them and then creates a spirit of team work and brings out potential of the teams to counter those abnormal areas. This is adventurous and challenging language that drives you for excellence.

The beauty of the lean language is that you have to be team player in order to make it effective.

WHY LEAN EFFORTS SUFFER AND WHAT ARE SUCCESS INGREDIENTS

UNSUCCESSFUL LEAN EFFORTS OR LEAN FAILURES

There are many reasons for unsuccessful lean efforts. In my view following are few of them and are core.

1-      Resistance to change or status quo
2-      Seeing /looking /understanding lean with current perspective or current level of understanding
3-      Considering it as additional activity
4-      Pressures to complete current targets
5-      No consistency  of coach
6-      Lack of follow up system
7-      No synchronization between team of different sections
8-      Fear factor / behavioral resistance
9-      No clarity of job / vague job boundaries
10-   Disown of responsibility due to vague policy
11-   Lack of guiding resources


Three missing ingredients

1-      Lack of system/no system to drive lean 
2-      Lack of desired  behavior of the teams members and teams
3-      Lack of guidance/coaching/ knowledge/skills


So in order to develop successful lean system we need

1-      system that will drive lean culture
2-      people who in true sense know about lean to support system
3-      coaching .guidance  to develop system

4-      training structure  to support the above factors
